Using UnDP to monitor Foundry Optical Recieve Levels OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.3.3.6.1.3

So I'm trying to set up NPM to poll the Foundry optical monitoring tables in order to capture and graph historical data on the receive levels of my 10 gig WAN optics. (OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.3.3.6.1.3) The problem is the that the data for this particular OID is not purely numerical data.

The data for this OID is presented like this: -012.9157 dBm: Normal

Can anyone help me find a way to scrub the extra text data off the end and leave only the numerical data???
