Administrative Shutdown trap?

Hi,

I am able to receive the following from my Trap Viewer. Highlighted in red is when a user fails an 802.1x authentication.

IP address of switch:192.168.1.1

Interface number that failed 802.1x authentication: G0/4(Cisco 2960) ---> IfIndex is 10104, as shown in red.

 

My question is how can I automatically shutdown the G0/4 interface? I understand that we could manually shutdown an interface by using the NPM, but are there any ways to shutdown the interface automatically, based on the SNMP trap I received?

More importantly, how do I also dynamically have the value of the IfIndex? I've tried to create a log file with the ${IfIndex} parameter but it didnt work.

Parameters like ${IP} worked fine.
