I'm actually having two issues with a Cisco 1900 that may be related.
I have a Cisco 1900 that I use as a test device. I have NCM version 5.1 and version 5.1.1 on separate servers. I have successfully added the 1900 as a node to both servers using the Cisco Catalyst 1900 FX Lite template.
My first issue is that only version 5.1.1 is able to download configs from the 1900. When I attempt to do so with version 5.1, I get a "Connection refused error".
The second issue is that I am unable to upload a config and write to NVRAM with the 1900. If I upload without choosing the write to NVRAM option, the job seems to complete, but of course, rebooting the 1900 does not use the uploaded config. However, I think that is due to the fact that the 1900 IOS does not recognize a "write mem" or "copy run start" command. Does that sound right?
Any help on either of these issues?
