A handful of our remote sites had their DHCP User Experience Monitor's go "unknown" on me today, the error is:
Unhandled SocketException occured! SocketErrorCode: 'ConnectionReset'. Exception message: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
Wireshark shows a DISCOVER getting from our polling engine to the local server, but an OFFER is never sent. The router on site has ip-helper, the firewall on the DHCP server is off, and our ACL's are fine. I've tried changing the component monitor to use the different request types as well, Relay Agent didn't help. Support isn't sure what's up. I can't find any differences between the DHCP servers at a site who's User Experience Monitor is working fine and one who isn't (other than the subnets, of course). Thoughts?
