VMware View Administrator

Hi All,

We are using vmware and have a VDI solution on it over 5 esx servers with 4 pool's

At present we have to logon to the Vmware view administrator portal URL in order to see how many remote sessions are in use and if the state\prosinging is enabled on each pool

Has anyone setup solarwinds to monitor the above? if so how as it's drving me crazy

This might be a long shot but have you tried exploring what's available through the VMWare API using the Find Processes, Services and Performance Counters under APM settings? Are you aware of any other method this information is exposed other than through the view administrator?
