Alert triggering when adding new nodes

Hello Thwack friends,

I have a question for you, we have an alert that triggers when a hard drive is getting full, 90% or more space used, it works fine but it also triggers when we add new nodes, I guess new nodes are not polling right away so it thinks that the drive has 0% space left, after a few minutes it polls properly and clears that alert.

Do you have any ideas on how to avoid this alert from triggering when adding a new node?

What's the code for the alert/layout in the wizard? It's probably something in there. I have several disk space warnings and I have never seen mine do this.

Weird, so what does the text of your alert read when it gets logged/emailed?

Here's one of my alerts:

It's odd that you have the time setting on your alert and you're still seeing it fire off when it shouldn't. You might not need the laptop part of your alert if you're already telling the alert to target servers--however, I seem to recall having to use custom groups to alert, the node type section could be throwing your alert off, I'm not sure.
