Excessive growth of the database

Hi,

We are having an excessive growth of the database. Particularly the table "APM_PortEvidence_Daily" with 44 million records and APM_PortEvidence_Hourly 28 million records are the main ones.

It also calls the attention of these tables is the "Daily" and not "Hourly" which has more records.

Is there some configuration or tool that allows me to limit the size of the history?.

I would also recommend checking Database Maintenance log file (c:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\swdebugMaintenance.log) to verify that maintenance runs every day and there are no errors. If there are errors, you should open a support ticket and some of our support reps will assist you with troubleshooting.

In web UI, please go to Settings -> APM Settings -> Data and Database Settings

You can set retention intervals here. What are you current values? How many components do you have?
