Sysedge and NPM

Hello all,

I'm trying to obtain CPU, memory, interface, volume utilization information from a Redhat 5 system using Sysedge rather than net-snmp.  The SNMP agent selection is not under our control.

I added the system to NPM and it retreived the host name and a few other details that suggests the community string and so on are correct; however, nothing else is available.

Google was not forthcoming.

Is anyone using NPM to retrieve information from a Sysedge agent? Guidance appreciated.

Hi Andrew--

Do you have the OIDs for the CPU, memory, etc? If so, you can create a custom poller to poll the info.
