I am currently trying to create a custom component for a custom template that is based off of a known, existing OID (we use it in cacti)
When the admin enters the OID in an snmp monitor for creation and tests it against the node that is known to have the OID he receives the error
"No such instance currently exists at this OID"
When he does an snmpwalk on the host he gets data for that OID, has anyone come across this and if so what did you check or how did you resolve.
I have checked that the OID is entered correctly and the community string is correct, not sure what else I should check.
