Moving APM components

Throughout the life of an application we may move it around between servers. How can I move an APM component between servers? Like if I have an HTTP monitor for www.website1.com associated with server1, an old IIS server. We want to move the website from server1 to server2, a new IIS server. We want to move the APM component from being associated with server1 to server2. We don't want to delete it and recreate it under server2 because we want historical stats to follow it. How can we do this? I can't seem to do this through the gui but I'm sure there must just be a few places in the Orion DB that I would need to just change which node it's pointing to, so where are these fields I need to change? I'm on APM 3.5.

If that's all you need to do (reassign the application to a different node) then you are 100% correct, you can do it this way.  

Each application has an entry in the APM_Application table.  Each entry has a NodeID to which it is assigned. You would have to look up the NodeID of the new node you want to switch the application to, and then replace the existing NodeID value.

Afterwards, you must restart the Orion Module Engine service so that Orion APM can reload the table and pickup the updated nodeID.
