Adding Devices already in NPM into NCM v7

Can anybody please point me in the direction of adding devices that already exist in NPM into NCM?

Also after amending the Custom Properties of a Node using the web console the changes do not appear in the NCM Window?

Any help would be appreciated.

Forgot to add we are on NCM v7.

Had no issues with earlier NCM.
