Hello,
First let me say Orion is functioning with out issue. I am monitoring multiple servers, but only one 2008 server via the APM. The APM shows that everything is up and running, which is good, however I get this error on my SQL box:
Login failed for user 'domain\username'. Reason: Attempting to use an NT account name with SQL Server Authentication. [CLIENT: 172.18.0.129]
172.18.0.129 is my Orion server. The domain is my domain and the username is the account I have specified to use for monitoring, which has domain admin privilages. What this error tells me is that Orion APM is trying to pass the domain account as SQL Authentication. The SQL server is set to mix auth, but is there a place in the SQL 2008 templated that I can tell it to use Windows Authentication instead of SQL Authentication? Or can I specify SQL Authentication in the SQL 2008 template for THAT server?
Thanks!!
