What's the simplest way to suppress an alert for X hours?

I have an alert set for when a Thin WAP goes into any state but UP. A few WAPs seem to cycle a LOT, causing alert emails to fire every 20 minutes or so. Is it possible to set an alert to suppress email for 8 hours?

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but you could set the Trigger condition check box "Condition must exist for more than x number of minutes..."
