Change default NCM config comparison selection?

I noticed that when I view a specific node on the NCM website, the default configuration available under "Compare Configurations" is the first one downloaded, not the last one downloaded. I'm not sure what value I have comparing configurations downloaded today to configurations downloaded months ago.

Is there a way I can tell this tool to by default compare configurations from the two most previously downloaded configurations? I guess I am looking for functionality like the tool below, "Config Change Report" which does by default select the most downloaded configuration, however I can only see the changes and not the entire config.

We can easily change this default configuration for 5.1. Are there others which would prefer that the default for the Compare Configs resource be to select the 2 most recent configurations. Currently, it selects the oldest configuration and the newest configuration by default in the drop-downs.

No worries. After thinking about it more, your suggestion makes a lot of sense. We'll try to squeeze this into 5.1. For internal folks, this is #3117.
