Config Manager - Download Config on Extreme XOS not working

We have the licensed versions of NPM, NCM and Netflow installed and working, however we are having one problem with NCM.

The problem we are having is within NCM and downloading the config for Extreme XOS devices only. All other devices (Extreme ExtremeWare, Cisco etc) work well. Attached are the device script and traces to both XOS devices when doing the ‘Download Config’ Command.

Note: SSH logon and SNMP credentials all working and XOS device is successfully monitored using NPM. The error message that i am getting is

'Connectivity issues discarding config file'

This is from your device and means that it received an invalid command or what might have been a valid command but just not in this context.

It seems like this particular device has been set to require enable mode before other commands can be executed.. Please try manually logging in using the same account configure in NCM and showing the config. Then, post the exact series of commands you needed to type to show the running config.

Everybody

The cause for this problem is that the Extreme XOS script in Solarwinds CM is wrong and hence the download does not work. I've gone over the script and it tries to execute a command

'show configuration detail'

This command unfortunately does not work on XOS and after i've adjusted the device file it is working:

This is solved - please pass on to dev team to change script
