I am trying to monitor task scheduler jobs on windows server. How can I do that. I tried using tempalate windows task scheduled tasks but somehow it doesnot lead me to the application and component monitor. I am using SAM 6.2.2.
Please asssist.
If you have SAM alone then you can do this by applying the Application Monitor templete to the node your after.
Other way is if you have NPM as well, select the node and list resources. Windows Task monitoring will be there - uses 5 SAM license components per server monitored.
Provided the node is managed via WMI or through the Agent, monitoring Windows Scheduled Tasks appears as an option for monitoring under "List Resources" as outlined in the following blog post.

What if for a server I am not able to get Windows schedule option in list resources.
Happening with SAM 6.6.
Is there any alternative or solution to this?

Are there any Windows Scheduled Tasks configured on the machine? If so, it should appear as an option when you click 'List Resources'.
In that case, how do we monitor the status of all the jobs that are residing in sub folders?
Is there any update on how to monitor tasks in sub folders?
