Monitoring server disk availaibility, memory usage, cpu usage etc.

Hi,

I was wondering how i would go about creating a monitor for Hard drive availability. I.e. I would like to know when all of my servers C;\ drives have less than 2Gb available. Would i be able to create a custom view in Solarwinds web console to display a list of all servers that would fall into this category?

I would also like to do the same with the other items listed in the title, however i feel once i am able to do 1 i will be able to replicate to the other objects.

So we were close - the filter was: VolumeType = 'Fixed Disk' AND Volumes.Caption LIKE 'C:\%' AND VolumeSpaceAvailable < 2147483648. We had to prepend the 'caption' with the table name to avoid ambiguity with the nodes table.

On the out-of-the-box Top 10 view there is a resource in the bottom left called 'Top 10 Volumes by Disk Space Used' (or something similar). You can use that resource with the following filter: VolumeType = 'Fixed Disk' AND Caption LIKE 'C:\%' AND VolumeSpaceAvailable < 2147483648 (it uses bytes, so this is 2 * 1024 * 1024 * 1024).

I had MB, not GB. Fixed.

That is fantastic, took me a while to work out what i need to do and now have a much better understanding which i feel i can then inorporate into the other lists i would like to create

Only thing is... The actual SQL query did not seem to work... And unfortuately this is where i will let myself down, i have worked too much with SQL and certainly not to the point of running queries.. but i am a quick learner..

Any ideas why that query may not work in my environment?
