I was hoping this issue would be fixed in NCM 7.0 but disappointed it doesn't seem to be. Our network configuration is not untypical of many out there with 2 Core Layer-3 switches with Layer-2 devices connected via trunks to the Core. When using the Find Address function for a mac or IP address for device on a Layer-2 switch I don't get the actual port the device is connected to. I can see it on the trunks associated with connection and in the Core. Seems like the bridge/mac-address table in the Layer-2 isn't being read properly.
Anyone got any answers for this.
