Connectivity issues discarding config file.

Hi,

I have been noticing the following error more and more lately "Connectivity issues discarding config file. Device IP: x.x.x.x". This error is an attempt to pull the config from a Nortel VPN device using telnet.

Pinging from NCM to this device round trip time is 239ms for 100 byte packets and 243ms for 1500 byte packets.

I do not see any loss of packets while running a continuous ping.

Grabbing from a Cisco switch on a nearby subnet and all is ok.

What's my next step to troubleshoot this problem?

Did you click on the little ... box at then end of the error and does it say Invalid input: in the window that pops up when you do? If so, the template is wrong for the device and you will have to put correct values in for the Commands Startup and Running and save it with a new name. Then go into NCM and change the Device Type for that node to the new template you made.
