Cisco CSS 11503 Config Download Issue

Hello...

We are using Orion NCM v6.0. I have just added some Cisco CSS 11503s to NCM. The Device Command Template that we are using for the device is "Cisco CSS 11500 Series". We use "Validate Login Information..." to succesfully log on to the device and the SNMP credentials are good too. When we go to "Device Details" under list of Actions the "Download Configs" item is greyed out. Similarly when we go to "Configuration History" under list of Actions the "Download Configs" item is greyed out

The configuration template certainly has the commands to allow the running and startup configuration for 11500 series devices to be downloaded.

Am I missing something obvious here?

Hello...

I have some additional information that may help explain the issue that I am seeing. When I select the problem nodes in the Node List, in the menu bar under Inventory the 'Inventory Selected Nodes...' item is greyed out. This means that a manual Inventory on the new devices is not possible.

This appears to be some additional evidence that Orion NCM is not happy with the new devices that have been added.

I have also tried changing the Device Command Template (the Configuration Template) to 'Auto Determine' to see whether it made any difference. It did not.

If anyone has any ideas as to what may be happening here I would love to hear from you.
