Auto-remediation scripts needed in Orion NCM

I do not know if others have already inquired about this..., so here it goes. I would like to know if auto-remediation scripts are being considered for the upcoming release of Orion NCM. This would be a nice feature to add to the Configuration Policy Compliance section. This would free the network team persons from having to manually push a script when devices are found to have the wrong configuration. Thanks in advance!!!

Alerts are rule triggered; Remediation will be rule based, as in any piece of config with the offending string(s) gets remediated.

Having played with it more in depth, I'll go a step further and suggest:

allow me to customize script (or "load script") and schedule remediation job (keeping the list of nodes that need remediated).

That way, if it is or can be intrusive or highly controlled environment, you can schedule to remediate in middle of night, otherwise, option to run policy report and remediate immediately (for things like NTP and clock settings, etc...)

Autoremediation scripts are part new functionality in the Policy Reporter; it will be in an upcoming release.

Are you looking to do it based on rules within the policy or at a policy level.

right now, I can click on a given rule violation indicator and remediate and that automagically selects all the nodes in the report that failed that check.

I would think that might be the way to go, just do a script per rule and the policy runs through remediation for failures of that rule then moves on to the next rule...

I would like to know if the autoremediation capability ever made it into a current version of NCM. I have been unable to determine this by searching Thwack or examining NCM documentation.

This is a critical issue with me. Thanks.
