Is there a way to examine Active Memory usage, Network I/O, Storage IOPS, and CPU usage in a way to do consolidation planning for Physical to Virtual virtualization planning? The Virtualization Manager seems to have terrific tools for environments which are already virtualized under ESX/ESXi. What about for pure physical, hybrid environments, or other hypervisors which would benefit from examining key metrics at the workload level and looking at it in the aggregate for rough consolidation planning?
