Manually delete a NCM node since 7x upgrade.?

Afternoon all..

I have a single node discrepency between NPM and NCM at the moment.

The device is visable and editable via the NCM GUI on our SolarWinds server, when right clicking and 'deleting' it takes me to NPM node management via the web front end..

But the device is not visible in NPM for me to delete it....

So I'm stuck with a node I can not delete.

I could just leave it there, hidden from view but I need to add a new node to NCM with the same IP so it complains that it is already present.

How can I delete this node.?? Any ideas.?

When you upgraded to 7.0, you integrated the databases. It should have asked you to run a synchronization that would then add the node back to NPM. At which point you can delete.

Try to do manual synchronization, then delete the node from NPM.

Go to your NPM website

Click on the up right side where it reads Settings

Click on NCM settings

Go to the NCM Node management section and click on Add or Manage Nodes

On the right hand side click on Node Sync

Click on Synchronize database

Thanks DH but the offending node fails to display in the web front end of NCM for me to delete it..

It is visible in the GUI on the server but not in the web front end.

Any other ideas?
