NCM v6 importing devices from file

Brand new to Solarwinds.

Is there a way to import a list of devices (nodes) name / IP ? For example, a Linux hosts file?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi mar1,

I'm not much of a Linux guy, but I know you can import nodes into NCM via text file, excel spreadsheet and an Access or SQL Server db. Just go to NCM in your server, go to File -> Import Devices. Maybe you can find a way to convert that hosts file into a text file or csv, then you are good to go
