exporting reports/inventory

I am sure this has been discussed in other places, but this forum fits my current issues.

Exporting of reports from NCM is something that needs to be examined very closely.

Currently, we do have an option to export to PDF, but sadly, this is disgustingly inadequate. Giving a “screenshot” in PDF is almost useless in most cases, especially if the report is multiple pages long.

Why can we not have a “export to excel” or even “export to csv” option?

If someone has a way to make this happen, please share – I am headed to the feature request area to make sure this gets added.

yes, it was a much need addition to NCM, but this featue does not honor any search filters applied to the report.

It will export the whole enchilada, even if it's several hundred pages long.

Kind of frustrating when you just want a few lines of data....

Hi Jiri, has this issue been resolved in V7.2.1?

Selected report contains 619862 rows. Exporting such big data set may cause performance issues. It is recommended to limit numbers of rows to be exported.

I have a failed device that I need to export the Physical Entities data for an RMA.

Using the Win32 NCM app in 7.1.1, I am unable to export the data in a readable format.

I have no way of retrieving the Inventory data to send to Cisco.

In NCM 7.2.2,export to Csv and export to excel options are added.
