Automatic SNMP Trap?

Hi all, I'm trying to send some custommized SNMP traps to Orion. I've tried the bundled snmp trap received, but it's just kinda a log receiver. I want my trap/packets being analyzed by Orion like the Network Performance Monitor. I want them to be capture, analyzed in an automatic way. Can I customize the network performance monitor to fulfill my requirement? How can I add my customized database to it?
