Why is the statistic value shown as red?

Can anyone tell me why the statistic value in Multiple Statistic Chart and Component resouces show the download value in red versus normal black? The application is set to show the application as warning when less than 100 and critical when less than 10 (which you can see is working on left hand side under Application Details. Could it somehow be picking up on the word "Down" in Download???
