The web site can support up to the top 100 of any particular item like transmitters, applications, etc. What if I'm looking at an issue and I need to see all applications or something like that?BB
There isn't a built-in way to see all applications/endpoints/etc. Can you explain your scenario a little more? I might be able to help you figure out how to troubleshoot this issue if I understand the context a little more.
Well...we had a situation last week were a wan link was running very high. The top 10 looked fine because the bulk of the traffic was not in the top 10....it was being used by another application using different ports. The different ports separate would not make the top 10 but if you put the ports together for the application then it would be #1. So I guess I'm looking for what I asked AND a way that you can group ports together and report on them. So If I know application X consists of 10 ports NTA would be smart enough to lump all the data together into 1 application on the web site, not 10 separate ones.Make sense?BB
So a Top 10 Applications across all interfaces would have helped?
Okay, I'm following you. I know it doesn't help you right now, but there are some features regarding grouping application ports coming up. As an alternative, you can create an IP address group that represents the hosts on your WAN if they are in a contiguous IP range.
Umm...not in this case. But that is a good idea...it would be nice to have a way to select different interfaces and be able to aggregate them into a logical view. Like I take all my WAN links and make 1 logical view so I can see the top 10 applications across the WAN links.BB
