Does NPM database work with SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP1)?

Hello;

I wanted to upgrade to version 10.7 but my SQL Server is not the right version. I noticed the documentation that it has the database requirements but it is a little confusing.

Sean, NPM 10,.7 can be installed on any currently supported version of Microsoft SQL Server with any service pack level.

This includes:

SQL Server 2005 (any service pack level)
SQL Server 2008 (any service pack level)
SQL Server 2008 R2 (any service pack level)
SQL Server 2012 (any service pack level)

However.. please note that Microsoft only supports (and updates) the latest service pack level of SQL Server.

So yes, you can install NPM 10.7 on SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1, but the preferable choice would be to install it to SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2.

We dropped SQL Server 2005 SP1 and SP2 in NPM 10.7. We support SQL server 2005 SP3 or SP4.
