Adding and viewing custom poller graph under specific device

Question

HI Eveyone,

We have Solarwind installed on our network. I have been given the task to customize some of the views and therefore learn about this application.

Other day i was looking to add Environment monitors data onto the NPM with UnDP. Going through the setting i went to Home - Group - Environment sensors - clicked on the primary climate sensor. Then went to customize page and was looking to add custom poller. Only one that made sense to me was - Multiple series chart.

So, i selected Multiple universal device poller chart and added the undp for humidity and temperature. Walla, it showed up on the menu and i edited the view to show the data i wanted.

Now, the problem is - this graph shows up on the summery pages of every device ..: (

I want this custom poller graphs to show on the specific device that it relates to. Hence, i turn to thwack community.

Any ideas ?

HI Gents,

I have figured it out now.

I had to ' Select specific node ' from the undp poller chart ' edit' option. Once selected. I ticked - Only show items listed above that are related to this view - and - Autohide resource - and these did the trick. Custom poller charts are only showing under specific nodes.

Hi Zbynek,

I have checked the boxto ' Auto hide ...' but that did not make a difference...I am checking now if I have place the device poller chart in the node details palce or not...

Hi,

first of all verify you've placed this resource (Multiple Universal Device Poller Chart) to the NodeDetails page. Then you'll be able to switch the 'Choose Objects' setting to 'Automatically display nodes related to the current view'.

Another option 'Auto-Hide Resource' set to Yes will display this resource only on nodes which has the specific customer poller assigned.
