Orion and Cirrus v4 same server

I have just installed V4 on my orion box, it was running versin 3.51 before the upgrade with no issue.

The upgrade itself went fine, but the issue I have now is that I am unable to launch the Orion Console on that server. Has anyone seen this issue before or have a work around for it?

What version of Orion are you running on the Cirrus machine (i.e. 7.8, 8.0. 8.1, 8.5, 8.5.1)?

I recommend running the repair on Orion. If the issue still persists, then run the Service Pack 2 again (update.exe). How do you run a repair on Orion?

Had problems during many upgrades of Cirrus and Orion when they were on the same box (3.x Cirrus and 7x & 8x Orion). DLL's were not being shared properly and being updated/overwritten and causing general unhappiness. Moved them both to their own virtual machines and now updates and patches work very well. Also found there was not enough CPU in the VMWare environment to run them both on the same box. The cirrus console was a real resource pig and would cause slow downs on the console. Now that Cirrus is not competing with Orion for CPU the console is bearable, not great but workable.
