I'd like to be able to rename devices in NCM, editing the "Node" name. I then want to set the SNMP hostname to the Node name using CCT. I don't see where you can grab the Node Name. I see the SysName in Nodes, but not the "Node". Can I query this?
I also found that a SWIS variable MUST has a space following it. I was trying to use the hostname as a filename but found no way to use a variable without the required space. No quotes, nothing.
I also would like a variable that gives the name of the user used to login. Since I can't test for prompts in CCT, I need this to see if I'm logged in a root or as a named user.
