I have only seen one post along this vein from 2009 so this question is more about getting an updated answer.
Is it possible to create a template or baseline configuration file for Cisco devices by model or by group, for instance a group like office switches? I have read the documentation and see that one can create a baseline per unique device. I also saw the section about using a network baseline but even that relies on configurations per unique device, one just chooses a specific date or the last configuration file of each device.
Templates by group or model number seem like a reasonable feature so I am hoping I just haven't found the right menu option or read the right page of documentation.
