Macro's in Beta Alterting engine

I am using the new beta alerting engine to monitor port utilization. The old alerting engine macro was ${InBps} and the output would like like this 40Mbps with the new alerting engine the output is still being displayed in bits and looks like this Transmitted : 5.136848E+08. Is there another macro I can use, or will this be broken until the production version?
