SNMP v3 support

Hi,

I am trying to use SNMP v3 on several Cisco devices and NCM with no success. When i validate the SNMP credentials i get timeout. There is no firewall between the Solarwinds server and the device

Find below my Cisco configuration:

snmp-server group NMS v3 priv context NMS read NMS
snmp-server view NMS iso included
snmp-server user nms_user NMS v3 auth md5 password priv des56 password

Is there any log on the server? Debug snmp on the Cisco did not reveal anything. I am using NCM v5.5.2 on Windows 2008

I'm having the same problem. I have NPM and NCM on the same server and NPM SNMPv3 works just fine, but doesn't work at all on NCM.

What version of NCM are you running? We fixed several issues related to SNMP v3 support in 5.5.2.
