Netlogon service reports as down

I recently installed a 30 day trial of APM and cannot get the Netlogon service to report correctly for the AD application monitor. This is happening for server 2003 and 2008 R2 DC's. All other services report correctly. The Netlogon services are all up and running as well as dependent services. I have tried using different credentials and playing with the name of the service with no success. I'm stumped so far and not sure where to look for the issue, I am wondering if it could be an issue with my default domain controller policy perhaps?

Any ideas/suggestions/comments are appreciated.

I tested the scenario you describe and it's working just fine for me. Have you tried monitoring another machine? Does the monitor work on these other machines?

Hello Jason, I just tried monitoring the Netlogon service on another machine (not a domain controller) and I received "failed with 'NotAvailable' status: The service was not found." I then tried and was able to monitor another service successfully on the same machine. Every other monitor seems to be working fine, just can't get netlogon to work.

We are using SolarWinds Orion Core 2010.1.0, and APM 3.5
