Hello,
I am working in a company and we'd like to change passwords on each Cisco switch automatically. There are 300 Cisco switches, so we'd like to have the same password on each switch and change it automatically every 3 months.
I think it's possible to do it with Orion Network Configuration. I read that on Internet: Enables quick changes to community strings, passwords, and black lists. With Orion NCM, you can execute bulk changes either in realtime or within a scheduled change window. Uploads, changes, and global command scripting can be scheduled by device type, physical location, by owner, or by any custom property you create.
So, I tried to change automatically password on Cisco switches but it doesn't work.
1) I installed Orion Network Configuration Manager
2) I added many devices (switches) and I configured these switches (ip, password...)
3) I created a scheduled job but I don't know what is the type of Job to change automatically password on Cisco switches ? Is it an "execute command script on devices"?
What is the procedure to change automatically password on Cisco switches every 3 months by using Orion Network Configuration Manager?
I also installed and configured Kiwi CatTools. What is the best tool to do that?
Thank you for your help
