We are looking to introduce/install NTA 4.4 into our existing environment we have 5 pollers 4 on the LAN and 1 in the DMZ, our SQL Cluster is running SQL Server 2014. I have stood up a SQL Server 2016 server to run the NTA 4.4 database. I know that NTA 4.4 requires SQL Server 2016, but hoping that my main Orion database can run SQL Server 2014
I am wondering do I have to upgrade my SQL Server 2014 cluster environment to SQL Server 2016 so that I can install NTA 4.4 or can I leave the main database at 2014 and just run SQL Server 2016 on the NTA database server.
Also when I run the installer to install NTA at what point am I able to point the NTA database to the separate server that I have setup for the NTA database server?
Here is a high level image of my current environment

Here is what I have currently installed - Orion Platform 2018.2 HF4, NCM 7.8, VNQM 4.5.0, NPM 12.3, NetPath 1.1.3, IPAM 4.7.0, UDT 3.3.1, CloudMonitoring 2.0.1, WPM 2.2.2, DPAIM 11.1.0, SRM 6.6.0, SAM 6.6.1
