Avamar Backup Monitoring

I wanted to see if anyone out there has had success in creating a Avamar APM template to check on overall heath and performance of these storage grids. Also if anyone has seen the ability to check on successful backups vs unsuccessful through on of these monitors. I assume this would be done with some sort of script that looks at a log file or a file, i guess maybe more of a report?

I just found your post.

I'll look at our Avamar next week and try to find out more for you.

We have about 20 Avamars in two grids along with Data Domain and Luminex.

I only got pulled into monitoring these things this week so I don't know a whole lot just yet...

No success.

It seems Avamar uses Linux with NET-SNMP.

NET-SNMP needs to go away - it is terrible to have to work with.

2012....yeah, I just had my SysAdmin ask me if we had any templates for Avomar and we also utilize the Data Domain product as well. I didn't see any templates in the shared template searching. Anyone have any success with this product since 2010?
