I opened a case to see if there was a way to build account limitations in NCM that I was not aware of but didn't find one. So the suggestion to me was to open a forum on Thwack to see if there is any interest for NCM users to possibly add this as a feature request.
I'm using NCM to monitor several network devices in remote sites. In NPM you can create an account limitation out of the box to restrict users to an IP string, like "10.140.3*", works great. I've also found a roundabout way in NPM to create a custom property and build an account limitation using the custom property.
In NCM I have Engineers that are remote to me that I have created accounts for that only care to see their network devices and don't care for the other sites. I've created Node Groups to group the devices, but thought it would be even better if I could set up an account limitation in NCM that tied to the Node Group.
Anyone else have a need for this?
