Cirrus purge old configs

Hello

I recently applied the following http://www.thwack.com to view configs. downloaded from Cirrus to be displayed on Orion.

Before this, I was only downloading configurations if they changed. The new method calls to always download the config. so the date can match on the  macro.

I can live with that as long as I can purge the older configurations, this is where I am having problems. If I go through the purge old configs (Configuration management > Configs > Purge Old configs) it deletes the old configs from displaying on the Cirrus interface, BUT it does not delete the old configurations from the folder. Is there something Im doing wrong, or is there another way to do this?

The purging feature within Cirrus purges configs within the Cirrus database.  The purge feature does not touch the text files that are created when the Config Archive feature is enabled.  If you want to remove all of the text files created by the Config Archive feature, then you can click on Configs->Browse Config Archive, and delete the files within the folder.  The next time the configs are backed up, the file structure and the text file configs will be re-created.
