NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA)
Receiving the flow information from an unknown ip
Nuria
Hi,
i have detected the following behaviuor. I have all the nodes discovered by the loopback address. When i configured the serial interfaces of the router to send netflow inflrmation, it appeared a message saying that orion was receiving flow information from a node that wasn´t discovered. That wasn´t true because the node was discovered by its llopback address instead of the serial one. I rediscovered the node, and the netflow module began to receive traffic from the interface. The problem is that i don´t want to have the same node with different ip addresses discovered. What can i do?
Thanks a lot and best regards,
Nuria

Nuria,
Have you configured Netflow on the device to send from the loopback address (i.e. ip flow-export source).
Sav.
