I recently imported approximately 50 devices from NPM to NCM. NCM then commenced to sort the devices by Vendor but stopped after recognizing about 12-15 of them. The majority of the devices have still not been identified by Vendor. The Device Details screen indicates that SNMP is disabled, which does not make sense, because SNMP is working just fine for Orion NPM.
i tried deleting and then manually re-adding a couple of the devices and was successful at having the device type correctly determined by NCM.
Is this some kind of bug with the Import function of NCM? Can it be corrected by running a script or executing a device inventory, or do I have to re-add all these nodes manually?
