Report on TCAM utilization

Hello,

Is it possible to generate a custom report based on the output of the following Cisco command:

show hardware profile tcam resource template default

Basically, we would like to run this report against our data center Nexus switches and ensure that the tcam doesn't fill up. We recently had an issue due to flow exports that cause the tcam to fill, which caused a link flap issue...

You could potentially create another Config Type in NCM, and then for the device template for Nexus add it as a config type and tell it to run this command. then you can create a job that does exactly what you want it to based off the new config type you created.

You could poll the cseTcamUsageTable in CISCO-SWITCH-ENGINE-MIB

At least there's an upside to my insomnia. Now if slashdot, arstechnica, and other cool websites could stop putting up new content between 10 PM and 5 AM Central, perhaps I would go back to sleep earlier.

Unfortunately this is a Nexus 56128. Contacted Cisco support and they said there is not a MIB for the tcam on a N5K. RIP!
