Filter Discarded Configs from Config History

My "Orion NCM Configuration History" pane is loaded with entries for configs that were downloaded, but discarded. I see no point in displaying these entries. The "Edit" property only allows me to enable or disable RTD entries.

Does anyone know a way to filter these messages?

What specifically do you want to see in the Orion NCM Configuration History pane? The messages you are seeing might actually be specific to the Nightly Config Backup jobs.

I can tell you that I don't want to see entries stating, "No Change Detected - Discarded Config for X.X.X.X". I don't see how that is usefull information at all.

What I would like to see is a history of actual configurations...pretty much what the title of the pane says. Also, I have no need to display an entry for each backup job. Any ideas on filtering these out?

Thanks for the clarification. We though the title of the resource was confusing as well and have renamed this in 5.1 to "NCM Events" to indicate what we're really tracking in this resource.

You might try editing the resource and unchecking all boxes and then add then one at time to ensure you're only getting the data you desire.

If you're looking for the actual configurations or configuration changes, the Config List and Last X Config Change resource are better ones to reference.

Thanks, Chris. I gave that a shot and I believe I better understand the problem now. I realize this pane is not just for configuration changes, but rather any changes that occur within the NCM application. I would like to keep RTD entries, I just don't see any reason to show the "Discarded Config" entries. It looks like its all or nothing though.
