Multiple show commands to download

Hi,

I have to send multiple show commands in order to get the whole config from a TNX-210 atm switch.

One command shows the ATM interface another the Ethernet interface and so on...

When i'm using the DownloadConfig command I can only get one of them.

Can you help me merge all the results of these commands so we can quickly view the whole config?

Hi,

I doubt this is possible to list multiple configurations as NCM will save the file once it gets the prompt back and then disconnects.

You can however try to modify the template and run some tests.

Templates are saved in \Program Files\SolarWinds\Configuration Management\DeviceTypes\ .

Ok, I beleive that an alternative would be to use the running and startup ConfigType to get 2 of the most important shows.

In that case I would like to get a tftp backup as well. Is it possible to active both direct and indirect transfer mode?

When using tftp my device sends a binary file. Will that work using the indirect transfer?

No. Once at a time or you need to add twice the device as detailed in the link I posted above.

I am honestly not sure. Can you open this bin file like a text file, if yes, I would bet it will work.

If the format is not readable by NCM, you might have problems making it work.

I would suggest to try it to figure this out.
