I'm recieving the attached error in one of the component monitors in the netbackup client template. It's not on all servers just a few. What could be causing this?
TCP Port 13782 is used for bpcd (NetBackup client daemon. Enables the NetBackup clients and servers to accept requests from NetBackup servers.) and should be open and listening on the NetBackup client. You can confirm this by typing [netstat -an | find "13782"] at the command prompt where the client is installed. If port 13782 isn't listening, then double check that the NetBackup agent is installed and all services are running.
If the port is open/listening then it's possible there is a firewall or router access control list that is preventing TCP Port 13782 between the Orion server and the host where the NetBackup client is installed.
