Migrating to new Orion Server and converting old server to Hot Standy

Question

I have been given the task of taking a fully functional Orion server that has NCM and the SQL database on the same box, and migrating to a new server. The new server will be the Primary Orion\NCM server and SQL will be on a seperate box. The old server needs to remain active as a Hot standby to the new Primary.

I have read the NPM migration document, but it doesnt seem to cover this exact scenario.

How can I sucessfully migrate this over and convert the old server to Hot standby while minimizing the Orion system downtime?

Hi,

My scenario would be:

1) Move the database to the new separate server (first down time for Orion/NCM)

2) Move Orion to the new server (Second down time for Orion)

3) Move NCM to the new server (Second down time for NCM)

4) Rebuild the Old server and install the HSE (Should not require a Third Orion down time).
