Custom Poller Fail

I tried to create my first universal poller to track Exchange "SMTP Remote Queue".

So I went to Define Your Own Universal Device Poller and browsed through MIB browser.

But when I finally got the OID I wanted .1.3.6.1.4.1.9600.1.2.76.1.110.6.95.84.111.116.97.10

(it was visible) and clicked TEST...it gives back "the OID is not supported". What is up with

that? Isn't the custom poller exactly for polling oids that aren't polled by default?

Hi--

The UnDP does not recognize the OID you chose as the correct one for the information you are trying to poll. Do a MIB walk of your device and find another OID and add that one instead.

Hi--

You need to MIB walk your device not the SW MIB to find out the exact OID you need. Then you create the UnDP around that. We offer a MIB walker in our Toolset product, but there are also other tools out there for walking your MIB.

I MIB Walked the device and end up with hundreds of OIDS with values. But how to tell which one is the delivery que? What I am looking for is fairly straight forward. I want to know what the delivery queues look like at any given time. Any recommendation?
