I have an NCM server setup that currently manages almost 200 network devices, and this is the only one I am having this problem with. I have a pair of Juniper SSG 140s that are clustered. The configuration files used to download fine, but with no network changes being made and this network device literally being right next to the NCM server, I am unable to figure this out.
-The login credentials work fine and so do the SNMP credentials.
-Both Firewalls in the cluster are doing the same thing
-Previously worked before, then stopped for no apparent reason.
Basically what is happening is that is appears NCM is downloading the configuration file. In the config transfer status window using SSH2/SSH2 to download, the status says Receiving Data/Sending Data. Will bounce back between the two for around 30 minutes, then I get an error message that says ERROR: Cannot download running config : Connection Refused. Device IP: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.
Everything appears to be setup correctly on the Juniper device, i am able to login fine with the credentials and the SNMP works properly as well. Only thing I can think is that its a large configuration file, 364139 Bytes, and that it might be timing out because it takes so long to download. But i cant find any sort of time out setting or size restriction.
